Graduate Group for German and Austrian Studies

UB has a large number of faculty and students interested in various aspects of German Studies. Our very active Graduate Group for German and Austrian Studies (GGGAAS) brings together people from Linguistics, History, Philosophy, Art History, Comparative Literature, Romance Languages and Literatures, Geography, and a number of other departments and schools, as well as colleagues and friends from the wider Western New York community. Everyone interested in German at UB is strongly encouraged to get involved in the activities of the Graduate Group.

Study Abroad

Students interested in opportunities for study, research, internships, work, or travel in a German-speaking country will find much useful information and guidance at UB's Study Abroad Programs office. The GGGAAS website also has links to a number of organizations that offer programs and funding for study and research overseas.
